Ferruccio Ascari – Official Website

Ferruccio Ascari is a Milan-based visual artist whose work spans painting, sculpture, and site-specific installations. His early works focused on site-specific installations and the cross-contamination between visual arts and time-based arts (music, dance, performance), as well as painting and sculpture—an openness to diverse artistic languages that continues to define his entire practice.

In collaboration with the artist, I developed his official website to serve as a comprehensive digital portfolio. The site features:

• Studio: An overview of Ascari’s artistic journey and current projects.
• Archivio: A chronological archive of works dating back to 1973.
• Temi: Thematic explorations that delve into recurring motifs in his art.
• Biografia: A detailed biography outlining his education, influences, and exhibitions.

The website was built using Next.js for a dynamic user experience and Wordpress as a robust CMS for content management. The ideas were suggested by the artist, and I focused on translating it into a responsive, functional, and performance-optimized platform.

The result is a cohesive online presence that reflects Ascari’s artistic vision and offers visitors an immersive experience into his world of contemporary art.
